Deep Breathing Techniques

Many people purchase wind chimes because they want to feel relaxed. Eco Wind Chimes’ goal is to provide quality wind chimes. But this isn’t our only goal. We love to help people relax, as you can tell with the posts on this blog. Today’s topic deals with deep breathing and relaxation. Below are some amazing tips you can use alongside (or not) your Eco Wind Chimes.

1. Use the proven relaxation breath step. This done by following the bullet points below;
Exhale completely through your mouth, making a whoosh sound.
Close your mouth and inhale quietly through your nose to a mental count of four.
Hold your breath for a count of seven.
Exhale completely through your mouth, making a whoosh sound to a count of eight.
This is one breath. Now inhale again and repeat the cycle three more times for a total of four breaths.

Another technique is known as breath counting. Here’s how to do it:
To begin the exercise, count “one” to yourself as you exhale.
The next time you exhale, count “two,” and so on up to “five.”
Then begin a new cycle, counting “one” on the next exhalation.

We hate to say that it takes some work to relax, but the truth is it does. Once you practice these breathing techniques- you’ll find they become easier and easier to do!
